Our newly renovated stone country house dating back to the early 19th century is situated on a hillside at 500 metres above sea level near the town of Sansepolcro (province of Arezzo) in Tuscany. There is a marvelous view over the Tiber River Valley and the Lake Montedoglio, which is only 300 metres, easily made by car, bike or on foot, from our country house. Our retreat is nestled in a centuries-old park surrounded by fruit trees, woods of Turkey oaks, olive groves, several plantations and the soft grass of our meadows is only disturbed by the footprints, noticeable in the morning, which are left by roes, prickets, hedgehogs and other wild animals which live freely in the surrounding woods. The lawn behind the country house has a sunny area overlooking the lake where there is a swimming pool (12m x 6m) and offers wide spaces for recreation and a playground for the children. The agritourism Calcinaia sul Lago, owned by the Guidobaldi family is the ideal location to spend a relaxing holiday and experience a friendly atmosphere. The private apartments are extremely comfortable and each of them has its own private outer space.
